Job summary

Doltone Hospitality Group invites applications for Casual Kitchen Hands at Doltone House Sylvania Waters. You will assist with food prep, keep areas clean, handle dishwashing, and support events from weddings to corporate functions.

We value a positive attitude, reliability, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Previous kitchen experience is an advantage, but training is provided to help you thrive in a fast-paced team environment across multiple venues.

Qualifications

• Previous work in a kitchen, café, restaurant or catering is advantageous.
• Familiarity with food hygiene, safety and cleaning standards.
• Experience with basic food preparation (chopping, washing, portioning).
• Ability to work in fast-paced, team-oriented environments.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities:

• Assist with food prep and kitchen cleaning
• Keep kitchen areas clean, organised and hygienic.
• Handle dishwashing, waste disposal and stock rotation.
• Keep the kitchen running smoothly and efficiently
• Work across exciting events, from weddings to corporate functions

Your attributes:

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment

Your experience:

• Previous work in a kitchen, café, restaurant or catering environment is an advantage
• Familiarity with food hygiene, safety and cleaning standards.

• Handling dishwashing, waste disposal and stock rotation.
• Working in fast-paced or team-oriented environments.
• Any exposure to events or catering kitchens is a bonus but not essential.
