Job summary

Sirius. in Southern Sydney is seeking an Accounts Receivable & Billings Specialist to manage high-volume invoicing and support cash flow. This role offers a hybrid arrangement (2–3 days in the office) and a temporary 3–6 month contract with potential extension.

You’ll work with freight and logistics finance, using CargoWise, SAP, Xero or Oracle, with strong Excel skills, and you’ll liaise with drivers and depot managers. Immediate availability preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in AR/Billings, ideally within logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, or transport.
• Familiarity with logistics ERPs (e.g., CargoWise, SAP, Xero or Oracle) and intermediate/advanced Excel.
• Clear verbal and written English to liaise with drivers, depot managers, and corporate accounts.
• Full Australian working rights (WHV holders with relevant overseas logistics/finance background are encouraged).
• Immediately available or on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Processing high-volume freight billing, consignment notes, and customs/duties charges
• Reconciling transport accounts, PODs, and fuel surcharges
• Following up on outstanding accounts with commercial freight and trade clients
• Investigating and resolving complex billing disputes and rate discrepancies
• Assisting the finance manager with weekly cash collection reports and end-of-month reconciliations
