Job description

We’re looking for a Locum Sonographer to join the team in Katherine, with two blocks of work available in October and December. This is a great opportunity for a sonographer who enjoys a varied caseload and the chance to work across a broad range of general ultrasound examinations in a regional setting.

• 14 October - 28 October 2026
• 7 December - 16 December 2026
• $90 per hour + super
• Monday to Friday
• Some on-call may be required
• 10-12 patients per day with one sonographer
• Up to 20 patients per day when two sonographers are working
• Inbound and outbound travel reimbursed up to $1200.
• Accommodation provided
• Pool car available
• Paper-based worksheets, scanned and saved to PACS
• Ultrasound studies reported remotely by ProRAD Medical Imaging
• Work alongside a team of 3 full-time staff
