Aussie Locums is seeking a locum dual radiographer/sonographer for Katherine Hospital in the NT. You’ll work as the sole on-site clinician across ultrasound and radiography with an advanced scope, supported by agency credentials and a remote-outback setting.

The role offers up to AU$120 per hour plus super, travel reimbursement up to AU$1,200, supplied accommodation, pool car access, and a short January–February 2026 assignment (2 Jan–27 Feb).

The role:

The locum Sonographer/Radiographer role at Katherine Hospital offers up to $1200 travel reimbursement, supplied accommodation, and pool car access. Work weekdays with on-call coverage as the sole on-site clinician, performing ultrasound (general, O&G, vascular, paediatric, MSK, small parts, FAST) and radiography across inpatient, outpatient, urgent weekend, and remote community clinics using Canon Aplio 500 and GE Versana machines. With no on-site radiologist, you’ll practice at an advanced scope while enjoying the unique outback lifestyle of Katherine.
