Job summary

Cornerstone Medical Recruitment is seeking experienced occupational therapists for locum placements in Darwin, Northern Territory. Roles span acute to rehab hospital services with caseloads in general medicine, surgical and orthopaedic areas.

Positions run 12–13 weeks from late September to January, with accommodation provided or an allowance to source your own. Travel allowance is available for domestic travel, and you will receive ongoing support from a recruitment consultant throughout your

Qualifications

• OT qualification and current AHPRA registration.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Strong acute hospital experience across medical, surgical and/or orthopaedic caseloads.
• Confident working autonomously in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
• Available to commit to the full contract.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, intervention and discharge planning.
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team.
• Caseloads across acute, inpatient, rehab, general medicine, surgical and orthopaedic patients.
• No paediatric caseload expected.

We are seeking experienced occupational therapists to provide clinical support across a range of acute & rehab hospital services, with exposure to general medicine, surgical and orthopaedic caseloads. We have multiple positions available in several Northern Territory sites.

The roles

• 12-13 week locum contracts available from late September through to January
• Available caseloads across acute, inpatient, rehab, general medicine, surgical and orthopaedic patients
• Assessment, intervention and discharge planning
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team
• No paediatric caseload expected
• Opportunity to experience the Northern Territory while developing your public health experience - we have roles in the outback, and in the city!

About you

• Occupational therapy qualification and current AHPRA registration
