Unite Recruitment is sourcing locum GPs for an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service in the South Burnett region of Queensland. The service provides bulk billing GP and multidisciplinary care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients, with on-site clinics in Cherbourg and Wondai.
Telehealth is not currently offered. Slots available for continuous coverage through to 1 January 2027, with core hours Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm at $1,600 per day and Friday 8am-3pm at $200 per hour.

You'll be providing general practice care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and the broader community, working alongside allied health and social and emotional wellbeing teams as part of a holistic, community controlled model of care.
What they're looking for:
GPs looking for meaningful, community focused work in regional Queensland, with strong day rates and the opportunity to build an ongoing relationship with the service. Locums able to commit to a run of consecutive weeks, particularly across November and December, will be especially well placed.
