Moree Hospital is a level 3 facility, with 35-60 ED presentations daily. The Emergency Department has 4 beds and an upright assessment chair, and you'll provide solo onsite care whenever patients are present. The hospital draws on Tamworth as its main referral centre for advanced care. You must be a Fellowed GP with GP Obs.
Our VMOs cover a range of specialties, and many work across multiple clinical areas—for example, ED and Anaesthetics. Your expertise and flexibility will play a key role in providing high-quality care.
Stay in our onsite self-contained one-bedroom apartments or enjoy a stay at the Albert Motel.
Moree is known for its artesian hot springs, friendly locals, and rich cultural history. When you're off-duty, take a dip in the thermal pools, explore nearby national parks, or enjoy the scenic drive to Inverell, Narrabri, and Tamworth.
