Job summary

Aussie Locums on the Gold Coast, QLD, is seeking a Cath Lab Radiographer for an 8-week locum starting in October. You’ll join a skilled cardiology team in a hospital setting with diagnostic and interventional cases and a mix of 6- and 10-hour shifts.

The role offers 32 hours per fortnight with on-call duties and a flexible roster. Market locum rates apply, with potential for permanent work for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration & full working rights in Australia.
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience essential (diagnostic, interventional, EP, devices).
• Competence with cannulation and Philips Allura systems preferred.
• Ability to manage on-call work and collaborate within a multidisciplinary cardiac team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with commitment to patient-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Support a wide range of diagnostic and interventional cardiac cases in a hospital setting.
• Be part of a single CCL on-site and assist with patient transfer, lab turnover, FFR procedures and injector use.
• Contribute to 24/7 emergency service delivery within a cardio team.
• Work in a 100% cardiac environment (diagnostic, interventional, EP, devices).

We’re seeking a Cath Lab Radiographer in Gold Coast QLD for an 8-week locum from October with part-time flexible roster.

Step into a specialist Cardiac Cath Lab Radiographer role, with the option of locum or permanent work. You’ll be part of a highly skilled cardiology team, supporting a wide range of diagnostic and interventional cardiac cases in a hospital-based setting.

All about the role

• 32 hours/fortnight with on-call duties (approx. 7 on-call shifts per fortnight). Mix of 6- & 10-hour shifts, with rostered flexibility and potential overtime.
• 100% cardiac (no vascular/IR). Includes diagnostic, interventional, EP, and device work.
• Philips Allura FD10; digital reporting via ISCV.
• Single CCL on-site; radiographers are integral members of the cath lab team, assisting with patient transfer, lab turnover, FFR procedures, and injector use.
