Job summary

GTS Freight Management in Adelaide, SA, is seeking an experienced Local MC Driver to join our team. Immediate start, Monday to Friday, 6am–2:30pm with occasional overtime.

You will perform daily checks, deliver freight to customer locations, load/unload, and maintain safety standards. To qualify, hold a current Unrestricted MC licence, have at least 2 years MC linehaul experience, be reliable and punctual, and ready to work in a safety-focused environment.

• Training and induction provided.
• Commitment to safety and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Daily vehicle checks and fitness for duty.
• Delivery of allocated freight to required locations as per customer time-slot.
• Load / unload trailers.
• Load restraint as per National Load Restraint Guidelines.
• Refuelling and cleanliness of allocated equipment.
• Promptly report any mechanical faults, delivery issues or delays.

Duties will include but not limited to:

• Daily vehicle checks and fitness for duty.

To be successful in the role you will possess the following attributes:

• Hold a current Unrestricted MC license.
• At least 2 years MC linehaul experience.
• Reliable and enthusiastic.
• Clear communicator and must be punctual
• Strong understanding and commitment to safety.
• Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) accreditation would be an advantage.
• Training and induction will be provided.

To be eligible for full-time employment you will be required to meet the following employment criteria which will include but not be limited to;

• Full Medical and functional testing
• Pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing
