Gorilla Grind, a lively mobile café operating across Brisbane, is hiring a Food Truck Operator / Barista. The casual role (20–30 hours) involves driving to locations, setting up coffee service, and delivering outstanding customer experiences during busy shifts.

Key duties include coffee preparation, food handling for take-away, and maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced mobile environment. Weekend availability is required.

Formación

• Must be 25 years or older for insurance purposes.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience within the food service industry.
• Excellent attention to detail and proactive problem-solving abilities.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced and reliable Food Truck Operator / Barista to join our team. This hands‑on role involves preparing and serving coffee and food, operating the food truck independently, and delivering excellent customer service on the go.

You’ll be responsible for setup and pack down, maintaining food safety standards, processing orders and payments, and creating a welcoming customer experience.

This is a casual role (approx. 20–30 hours per week) with potential for additional hours. Weekend availability is required from time to time.
