Job summary

Qube Bulk in Blackwater seeks locally based MC Drivers to transport dangerous goods across the Bowen Basin. This full-time role supports a 7-days on/7-days off rotating roster, with competitive rates and super on all hours.

Ideal candidates hold an unrestricted MC licence, DG licence (or ability to obtain), and Coal Board medical; prior road train experience and load restraint knowledge are highly valued. We offer development opportunities and a commitment to Zero Harm.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted MC licence and current dangerous goods endorsement.
• Ability to pass Coal Board medical.
• Prior road train experience essential.
• Solid load restraint knowledge and mechanical aptitude.
• Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Transport dangerous goods from depot to local and regional sites within the Bowen Basin.
• Operate across 7-days on/7-days off rotating roster.
• Maintain safety, compliance and vehicle standards on all runs.

What’s the role?

We are seeking experienced, locally basedMC Drivers to join the Qube team in Blackwater, to transport dangerous goods from our depot to local and regional sites across the Bowen Basin.

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that candidates have:

• Current Unrestricted MC Licence
• Current Dangerous Goods Licence (or ability to obtain one)
• Ability to pass Coal Board Medical
• Prior road train experience
• Good knowledge of load restraint guidelines
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
• A positive attitude towards the transport industry

The following is preferable, but not essential and we will provide training for:

• Dangerous Goods Licence
• SSAN Security Clearance
• Standard 11
