Job summary

ALH Hotels is seeking a Local Area Marketing Partner to collaborate with venue Publicans across South Australia, diagnosing business challenges and uncovering growth opportunities. You will establish short-term marketing plans to address local venue needs and work with the central marketing team to deliver campaigns that boost footfall and revenue.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years in a dedicated marketing environment, preferably multi-site.
• Ability to translate venue, guest, and catchment data into actionable commercial plans.
• Strong relationship-building skills with operational leaders, Publicans, and cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing marketing budgets, evaluating campaign ROI, and maintaining spend discipline.
• Growth mindset with a proactive, collaborative approach to problem-solving.
• Marketing qualification (or equivalent hospitality experience) is highly regarded.

• A hybrid role - based in Adelaide

As a Local Area Marketing Partner within ALH Hotels, you will report directly to the Senior Local Area Marketing Manager.

In this pivotal role, you will partner directly with publicans across a portfolio of venues to diagnose business challenges and uncover growth opportunities.

Driven by critical problem-solving, planning, and lateral thinking, you will establish short-term marketing plans to solve local venue needs.

You will collaborate closely with your manager, the local area marketing delivery team and subject matter experts in the central marketing team to refine ideas and deliver campaigns to drive customer footfall and revenue growth.

• Publican Relationship Ownership: Serve as the dedicated marketing advisor to venue Publicans—building trust, establishing accountability, and guiding commercial decision-making.
• Pub Planning: Set clear, ROI-focused marketing priorities and build tailored, long-term pub marketing plans designed to solve specific venue challenges.
• Data-Led Opportunity Diagnosis: Interrogate data to identify untapped revenue streams, demographic trends, and growth levers across your portfolio.
• Performance Review & Optimisation: Continuously evaluate campaign and venue performance against commercial targets, pivoting and refining plans based on results.
• Financial Management & Spend Discipline: Take full ownership of local venue marketing budgets, ensuring strict financial discipline, accurate tracking, and maximum return on investment.
• Delivery Orchestration: Brief, coordinate, and oversee execution requirements with the central LAM Delivery Team, leaving hands-on tactical production to the specialists.

Qualifications

• You bring 3–4 years of experience working in a dedicated marketing environment, with multi-site experience highly desired.
• Proven ability to translate venue, guest, and catchment data into clear, actionable commercial plans.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to partner effectively with operational leaders, Publicans, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong capability in managing marketing budgets, evaluating campaign ROI, and maintaining spend discipline..
• A proactive, self-aware team player with a growth mindset who embraces creative problem-solving and adapts effectively to dynamic environments.
• A tertiary qualification in marketing (or equivalent experience) and prior exposure to the hospitality industry are highly regarded.
