Job summary

Qantas Airways is seeking a Local Operations Agent at the Brisbane Freight Terminal to manage warehouse tasks and interstate trailer movements. You will load and unload trailers and handle local deliveries and pickups around the Airport precinct.

Required are a valid forklift licence, about two years of forklift experience, a current driver’s licence and a good driving history. MR/HR licences are preferred but not essential.

Based in the Brisbane Freight Terminal, your new role as a Local Operations agent you will you performing a range of warehouse and driving duties.

We understand our priorities and what needs to be delivered, taking the initiative to keep things moving. We bring teams and individuals together to deliver on our customers’ expectations.

Your new position as a Local Operations Agentwill see you performing warehouse duties including the loading and unloading interstate trailers. You will also be responsible for local deliveries and pick-ups in and around the Airport precinct.

You’ll have –

• A valid forklift licence
• Approximately2 yearsexperience operating a forklift
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High attention to detail and focus on safety
• Ability to be flexible between warehousing duties and driving duties
• Experience in a cargo terminal environment will be desirable
• Current and valid driver's licence
• Good driving history (Essential)
• An MR/HR licence preferred but not essential
