Job summary

Aurizon’s Mt Isa team is seeking a skilled heavy equipment operator for a full-time permanent role. Primary focus on forklift and loader operations with potential to operate heavy vehicles as required.

A current HC licence is preferred and reach stacker training/upskilling will be provided for the right candidate. Local residents can benefit from an attractive hourly rate plus location allowance with roster flexibility by agreement.

Qualifications

• Loader operating experience required.
• HC licence preferred; reach stacker training uplift available for right candidate.
• Strong safety and reporting skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate loaders as the primary function, supporting site operations in the Mount Isa area.
• Operate heavy vehicles, including HC combinations with tipping skel trailers, when required.
• Support loading/unloading of containerised product with upskilling provided for reach stacker operations.
• Complete all tasks safely and in line with Aurizon’s policies and procedures.
