Job summary

Bassett Barks, located in the Glass House Mountains, seeks an experienced Front End Loader/Excavator Operator for a permanent, full-time position. You will operate heavy equipment, load and stockpile materials, and perform daily checks to ensure safe, efficient site operations.

Qualifications

• Experience operating front end loaders and/or excavators.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and responsible equipment operation.
• Ability to complete pre-start checks and identify basic maintenance concerns.
• Reliable, practical and hands-on approach.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and contribute to the wider team.
• Professional attitude and strong attention to detail.
• Current driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Operate front end loaders and/or excavators safely and efficiently.
• Load, move and stockpile materials across the site.
• Complete daily pre-start checks and basic equipment inspections.
• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
• Follow site procedures and all workplace health and safety requirements.
• Support general site operations as required.
• Work independently and as part of the wider team.
