Job summary

UNSW Kensington Campus in Sydney is recruiting a Student Business Analyst to shape LMS transformation. You will translate student needs into requirements, collaborate with Human Centred Designers and stakeholders, and drive improvements in student life and online engagement.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence.
• Minimum of 3 years professional experience in business analysis or equivalent.
• Knowledge of project management methods and SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Lead student LMS Business Analysis activities including requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across faculties, divisions and technical teams to document requirements and align outcomes.
• Coordinate and facilitate student LMS feedback and assessments as the voice of the student.
• Model as-is and to-be processes and assess impacts of changes.
• Facilitate workshops and discovery activities to elicit stakeholder needs and pain points.
• Define functional and non-functional requirements and ensure traceability.
• Contribute to business case outcomes, including benefit analysis and risk assessments.
• Work with LMS delivery teams to ensure feasibility and alignment with enterprise systems.
• Support change management and training strategies with stakeholder impacts.
• Participate in testing phases by defining test scenarios and supporting UAT.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of BA standards and templates.
