Job summary

PCYC Queensland is seeking a Little n Active Leader to deliver fun, safe movement activities for children under five and their carers. You will help foster a welcoming, respectful environment where every interaction supports belonging and growth within the community.

Join a not-for-profit team offering rewarding community work, safeguarding commitments, and opportunities for leadership development. The role suits dynamic individuals who are enthusiastic, reliable, and love working with children

Qualifications

• Experience working with children under 5 and their caregivers.
• Ability to create a warm, inclusive environment.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Comfortable presenting to both children and adults.
• Demonstrates enthusiasm and reliability in role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fun, engaging and safe fundamental movement activities for children under five.
• Foster a supportive, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere for families and staff.
• Engage with communities to promote belonging and positive development.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure safeguarding and safety standards.
• Contribute to program progression through leadership and teamwork.
