Sunshine Coast Council is seeking a Literacy Services Officer to deliver adult literacy programs across the Sunshine Coast. You will coordinate learning opportunities, work with volunteer tutors, and collaborate with library staff to create inclusive learning environments.

Responsibilities include coordinating programs, supporting learners and tutors, and building partnerships with community organisations to improve lifelong learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Qualifications or equivalent experience in adult literacy, teaching, education or related field.
• Experience supporting adult learners and coordinating learning programs.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and information management systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver literacy services programs and workshops.
• Recruit, assess and support literacy learners and volunteers.
• Provide administrative and data management support.
• Build partnerships with community organisations and agencies.
