Sunshine Coast Council provides arts, heritage and library services to enrich the community and foster lifelong learning. As a Library Officer, you will deliver outstanding customer service, support digital literacy, and help run engaging programs while maintaining vibrant library spaces.

You will engage with customers through face-to-face, phone and online channels, contributing to inclusive, welcoming spaces that encourage learning and discovery.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused professional with a passion for helping people.
• Experience in a library, information service or customer service environment.
• Comfort with digital tools and learning new technologies.
• Enthusiastic team player capable of engaging diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and information assistance to library users.
• Facilitate library programs, events, literacy activities and learning sessions.
• Support access to digital resources, technology and online information services.
