Job summary

ING Australia is seeking a Liquidity Risk Manager to strengthen our Market Risk capabilities. You will design and enhance liquidity risk frameworks, run stress tests, and deliver clear senior-management reporting to support prudent funding decisions.

In this role, you will collaborate across Treasury, Risk and business units, ensure APRA regulatory alignment, and act as a trusted risk advisor influencing key balance sheet decisions within a leading digital bank.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of liquidity and funding risk management, stress testing and prudential requirements.
• 5+ years' experience in liquidity risk, treasury risk or a related risk discipline within banking.
• Understanding of APRA standards and broader regulatory developments impacting liquidity risk.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and ongoing enhancement of liquidity and funding risk frameworks, policies and risk appetite.
• Design, execute and analyse liquidity stress testing to assess risk exposures under a range of market scenarios.
• Deliver timely and insightful liquidity and funding risk reporting to senior management, committees and regulators.
• Provide independent review and challenge of liquidity risk management practices and assumptions.
• Partner with Treasury, Risk and business stakeholders to support sound risk-based decision making.
