Western Power in Western Australia is seeking a Lineworker to build and maintain transmission and distribution networks, respond to faults quickly, and deliver high-quality work in varying conditions while upholding safe work practices.

The role is covered under the CEPU Agreement with an hourly base rate starting from AU$57.96, plus a site allowance AU$2.50 per hour, plus roster-based allowances and relocation options.

Qualifikationen

• Industry experience in the construction and maintenance of the distribution electricity network.
• HOU and LOU Switching is highly regarded but not essential.
• Glove & Barrier is highly regarded but not essential.

Aufgaben

• Safety in the work environment and ensuring safe work practises are followed.
• Ensure teams meet daily performance and maintain open communication with team members and stakeholders.
• Receive, evaluate, and prepare work parcels for implementation.
• Attend to faults promptly and isolate the network for repairs to minimise customer impact.
• Execute programmed construction and maintenance work for safe, reliable operation.
• Construct network infrastructure according to design specifications and standards.
• Assist with building team capability and sharing knowledge within the team.
