D.Frame Electrical in the Illawarra region is seeking an experienced Linesman to join our ASP team and contribute to the delivery of electrical and network projects. You will work under the Senior Project Manager, performing construction, maintenance, testing and commissioning to high safety and quality standards.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Carry out electrical and network construction, maintenance and connection works.
• Install, maintain, repair and modify electrical network infrastructure per approved designs.
• Comply with DNSP standards, procedures and specifications.
• Read and interpret electrical and network drawings.
• Perform testing and commissioning as required.
• Identify and report technical issues, site conditions and potential delays.
• Participate in safety pre-starts, toolbox talks and safety activities.
• Follow DFE safety, quality and compliance requirements.
• Safely use and maintain tools, plant, equipment and PPE.
• Work as part of an ASP field crew and support teammates.
• Communicate site requirements promptly to supervisors.
• Collaborate with supervisors, project managers, apprentices and clients.
• Mentor apprentices and less experienced team members.
• Ensure equipment is fit for purpose and report issues.
• Assist with loading, unloading, transport, and securing of equipment.

About the Role

As a Linesman, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical and network construction, maintenance and connection works safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Working under the direction of our Senior Project Manager, you will contribute to the successful delivery of projects while maintaining strong safety, quality and compliance standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out electrical and network construction, maintenance and connection works.
• Installing, maintaining, repairing and modifying electrical network infrastructure in accordance with approved designs and requirements.
• Completing works in accordance with relevant DNSP standards, procedures and specifications.
• Reading and interpreting electrical and network drawings.
• Carrying out testing and commissioning activities as required.
• Identifying and reporting technical issues, site conditions and potential delays that may impact the works.
• Participating in pre-starts, toolbox meetings and other safety activities.
• Following all DFE, site and DNSP safety, quality and compliance requirements.
• Safely using and maintaining tools, plant, equipment and PPE.
• Working effectively as part of an ASP field crew and supporting other team members where required.
• Communicating site issues, material requirements and other project requirements promptly.
• Working cooperatively with supervisors, project managers, apprentices, contractors, clients and other site personnel.
• Supporting and mentoring apprentices and less experienced team members.
• Ensuring equipment is fit for purpose and reporting any damaged, missing or unsafe equipment.
• Assisting with the loading, unloading, transport and securing of equipment and materials.
• Using materials efficiently and minimising unnecessary waste.

• Has strong technical knowledge of electrical distribution networks.
• Understands and can work in accordance with relevant DNSP requirements and standards.
• Can read and interpret electrical and network drawings.

• Has a strong commitment to safety and compliance.
