Job summary

Servco Australia - Cairns is seeking Automotive Technicians for our Service Department. Wheel alignment experience and Toyota parts familiarity are highly regarded.

The role requires AQF Certificate III or IV (Diploma preferred), and a minimum of 1–2 years of relevant Australian work experience with a valid C-class license. A family-focused workplace with a permanent full-time contract awaits the right candidate.

Qualifications

• AQF Certificate III or IV in a relevant field; Diploma considered advantageous.
• Minimum of 1 year full-time relevant work experience in Australia with AQF qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years (35 hours/week) of relevant work experience.
• Driver's Licence: Class C is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults in Toyota vehicles.
• Service vehicles and complete outstanding recalls.
• Train apprentices and support team in repairs.
• Perform accurate wheel alignments using alignment equipment.
• Diagnose and correct alignment issues for optimum vehicle performance.
• Inspect suspension and steering systems thoroughly.

ABOUT US

Servco Australia - Cairns has multiple brands within Cairns including Pacific Toyota, Pacific Hino and Lexus of Cairns. The business has grown rapidly since its establishment and currently employs over 170 people. Our Parts Department not only serves our local region but is also involved in the exports of Toyota parts to regions within PNG and more. Over 100 vehicles are serviced within our service department each day. To be eligible for the role you must have

• Minimum of at least AQF Certificate III or Certificate IV in relevant field but Diploma qualification highly regarded
• Minimum of at least one (1) year of relevant full-time work experience, where the relevant AQF qualification was undertaken in Australia OR
• Minimum of at least two (2) years (35 hours per week) of relevant work experience.
• Driver's 'C' class licence is mandatory

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Diagnosing and repairing faults in Toyota vehicles
• Servicing Vehicles
