Job summary

Ditchfield Contracting Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic for its new Tomago workshop in NSW. The role is full-time, based onsite, Monday to Friday, with responsibilities including servicing, maintenance and repairs of the light vehicle fleet.

Qualifications

• Certificate of Proficiency in Automotive Mechanical Light Vehicle.
• Minimum 5 years experience.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• White Card.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles.
• Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently across vehicle systems.
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance meet industry and trade standards.
• Assist Plant Mechanics with repairs to earthmoving equipment.
• Identify, source, and order parts as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area at all times.

Due to the continued growth of the business we are looking for a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team.This is a fulltime position based in our new Tomago workshop working Monday to Friday.

ABOUT YOU

As a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic you will be responsible for servicing our light vehicle fleet. Duties will consist of:

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles
• Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently across vehicle systems
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance meet industry and trade standards
• Assist Plant Mechanics with repairs to earthmoving equipment
• Identify, source, and order parts as required
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area at all times

MANDATORYCRITERIA:

• Certificate of Proficiency in Automotive Mechanical Light Vehicle
• Minimum 5 years experience
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
• White Card

HIGHLY DESIRABLE:

• MDG25
• Forklift or Loader ticket
• Working at Heights Qualifications
