Job summary

WorkPac is seeking a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic to service and repair a diverse fleet in a fast-paced environment. You will perform general servicing, fleet maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and fault finding while ensuring safety and compliance.

You will work both independently and as part of a team, with opportunities for overtime and career progression within the mining, construction, and heavy industry sectors.

Qualifications

• Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic (Certificate III or higher)
• Current Driver's Licence (HR-MC highly regarded)
• Experience in heavy industry, mining, or fleet maintenance desirable
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
• Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and problem-solving

What You Will Be Doing

As a Light Vehicle Mechanic and play a key role in maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of vehicles. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for general and logbook servicing, fleet maintenance, vehicle inspections, diagnostics and fault finding, mechanical repairs, compliance work, and responding to mobile breakdowns when required. You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure vehicles remain safe, reliable, and operational.

What You Will Need

• Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic (Certificate III or higher)
