Job summary

Treads Tyrepower, Kincumber, is seeking a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our busy workshop. You’ll diagnose issues, perform inspections, maintenance and repairs, and work with the Sales team to keep things running smoothly.

We value reliability, pride in workmanship, and a true team player who can handle pace and occasional Saturday mornings. Rego ticket or plan to obtain one and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Qualified mechanic with at least 4 years post-trade experience.
• Sharp diagnostic skills and solid experience across the board.
• Rego ticket (or keen to get one) and a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable, detail-oriented and takes pride in work.
• Team player who can handle the pace and enjoys a friendly workplace.
• Able to work the occasional Saturday (morning).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues and get vehicles sorted properly, the first time.
• Carry out inspections, general maintenance and repairs.
• Collaborate with Sales team, Store Manager and Customers to keep everything running smoothly.
• Replacing parts and ensuring quality control.
• Keeping your work environment safe, clean and efficient.

What the job looks like:

• Diagnosing issues and getting vehicles sorted properly, the first time
