Job summary

Symal Group is seeking a proactive Light Vehicle Fleet Administrator to join the Assets & Logistics team in Australia. You will report to the Light Vehicle Fleet Manager and oversee day-to-day fleet administration, ensuring vehicles are safe, compliant and operating efficiently across their lifecycle.

You will coordinate fleet activities, maintain data accuracy, support reporting and drive continuous improvement while building strong relationships with users, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in fleet administration, asset coordination, logistics, vehicle management or a similar operational support role.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience working with fleet, asset or operational management systems and maintaining accurate data records.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the administration of fleet vehicles throughout their lifecycle, including vehicle deliveries, handovers, allocations, maintenance and disposals.
  • Maintain accurate fleet records across internal and external systems while supporting reporting, compliance and data integrity initiatives.
  • Coordinate servicing, repairs, insurance claims, registrations, fuel cards, e-tags and other fleet-related services.
  • Support vehicle utilisation by coordinating reallocations, transfers, mobilisations and short-term fleet requirements across the business.
  • Build strong relationships with vehicle users, suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver a high level of customer service and fleet support.

The role

We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Light Vehicle Fleet Administrator to join our Assets & Logistics team.

Reporting to the Light Vehicle Fleet Manager, you'll play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day administration of Symal Group's light vehicle fleet. Acting as the link between vehicle users, business units and suppliers, you'll help ensure our fleet is safe, compliant, fit for purpose and operating efficiently throughout its lifecycle.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with systems, processes and people, and takes pride in maintaining accurate records, coordinating fleet activities and driving continuous improvement.

Your everyday
