Job summary

Auto Trans Australia in Alexandria, Sydney NSW, is seeking a full-time Light Vehicle Automotive Mechanic to join our high-volume workshop. The role offers 5 days a week, 7:30am–4:00pm, Monday to Friday, with competitive conditions and room for growth.

The successful candidate will have a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent) with at least 2 years' experience, own tools, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must hold Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent with at least 2 years' experience.
• Must have own tools and valid driver's license.
• Must be experienced in a fast-paced workshop environment.

Responsibilities

• Remove/Refit Transmissions
• Replace mechatronic
• Replace clutches and DSG Clutches
• Repair or replace worn or faulty parts
• Valve body removal/refit
• Cooling system repairs
• Use job cards/repair orders
• Communicate with staff in the in-house remanufacturing facility to ensure efficient workflow
• Must have an automotive mechanic background and technical knowledge
• Must be experienced in a fast-paced workshop environment

We specialise in transmission diagnostics, servicing, repairs and complete transmission overhauls across a wide range of European, Japanese, Korean and American vehicles.

We are looking for an experienced automotive mechanic to join our team.

The Role

We are seeking a full-time mechanic technician to join our dynamic team, with great hours - 5 days a week 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday to Friday

• Remove/Refit Transmissions
• Replace mechatronic
• Replace clutches and DSG Clutches
• Repair or replace worn or faulty parts
• Valve body removal/refit
• Cooling system repairs
• Use job cards/repair orders
• Communicate with staff in the in-house remanufacturing facility to ensure efficient workflow
• Must have an automotive mechanic background and technical knowledge
• MUST BE EXPERIENCED AS WE ARE A FAST-PACED WORKSHOP
• Must hold Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent industry qualification with at least 2 years industry experience.
• A valid driver's license
• MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS
