Job summary

Momentum Consulting is seeking an experienced Light Plant / Mower Mechanic for a hands-on role servicing, maintaining and preparing light plant and mowing equipment. You will ensure machinery is safe, reliable and ready for use.

The role involves diagnosing, servicing and repairing a range of equipment, with emphasis on preventative maintenance and accurate record-keeping, in a collaborative workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a small engine, mower, plant or mechanical technician
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Experience working with petrol and diesel engines
• Practical, hands-on approach to problem solving
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong focus on workplace health and safety
• Current driver’s licence
• A relevant mechanical trade qualification is highly regarded
