Job summary

UGL is seeking an experienced Lifting & Rigging Supervisor to support a major LNG Turnaround at Wheatstone in Western Australia. This 35-40 day assignment involves 12-hour days and on-site collaboration with Scaffolders, Riggers and Crane operators to drive safe, efficient execution.

You will lead planning and field execution, enforce safety standards, coordinate with discipline supervisors and project management, and document rigging and lifting activities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Lifting & Rigging Supervisor within LNG / Oil & Gas Turnaround environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Planning & Execution (mandatory)
• Working knowledge of JDE and CMMS-based job planning systems (highly desirable)
• Strong Excel capability and high computer literacy (Power BI and web-based tools advantageous)
• Ability to work independently while engaging effectively with client representatives
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and procedural discipline

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of work meets project standards and specifications.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive schedule for Electrical activities, coordinating with other disciplines to optimize project timelines.
• Efficiently allocate resources, equipment, and materials to meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Foster effective communication within the team and collaborate with other discipline supervisors and project managers to address challenges and ensure smooth project progression.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues related to activities, providing innovative solutions to overcome obstacles.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of rigging & lifting activities, including daily reports, progress reports, and any required project documentation.

About the role

UGL is seeking an experienced Lifting & Rigging Supervisor to support a major LNG Turnaround at Wheatstone. This is a 35-40 days position (12 hour days).

Commencing ASAP, you will be responsible for providing critical support during the execution phases of a major LNG turnaround.

This role is ideally suited to a supervisor with strong LNG / TAR experience, a solid understanding of Lifting & Rigging Planning and JDE (desirable), and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-compliance environment.

Key Responsibilities
