UGL is seeking an experienced SMP Supervisor to support a major LNG Turnaround at Wheatstone. This is a 4‑month contract on a 2:2 roster (12 hour days). Commencing June 2026, you will be responsible for providing critical support during the execution phases of a major LNG turnaround. This role is ideally suited to a supervisor with strong LNG/TAR experience, a solid understanding of SMP Planning and JDE (desirable), and the ability to operate independently in a fast‑paced, high‑compliance environment.
Supervise and Lead: Directly manage and lead a team of Mechanical Tradesmen to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration in executing project tasks.
Safety Compliance: Enforce and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring that all electrical and instrumentation activities adhere to industry safety standards and company policies.
Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of work meets project standards and specifications.
Schedule Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive schedule for Electrical activities, coordinating with other disciplines to optimize project timelines.
Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources, equipment, and materials to meet project requirements and deadlines.
Communication: Foster effective communication within the team and collaborate with other discipline supervisors and project managers to address challenges and ensure smooth project progression.
Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues related to activities, providing innovative solutions to overcome obstacles.
Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of SMP activities, including daily reports, progress reports, and any required project documentation.
Proven experience as a SMP Supervisor within LNG / Oil & Gas Turnaround environments.
Strong hands‑on experience with SMP Planning & Execution (mandatory).
Working knowledge of JDE and CMMS‑based job planning systems (highly desirable).
Strong Excel capability and high computer literacy (Power BI and web‑based tools advantageous).
Ability to work independently while engaging effectively with client representatives.
