Anglicare Sydney is seeking a compassionate Lifestyle Worker to enhance wellbeing and independence for older Australians in a part-time role at our Sydney service.

You will plan and deliver lifestyle and recreational activities, support social engagement, assist with personal care when required, and help coordinate community outings, transport, and program planning.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with clients, families and care teams.
• Experience delivering group activities and community engagement.
• Understanding and applying person-centred care principles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lifestyle, leisure and recreational activities for individuals and groups.
• Support client participation in programs and social activities to promote independence.
• Assist with personal care and access to community services as needed.
• Plan, implement and evaluate lifestyle programs with team input.
• Coordinate transport to centre activities and outings.
• Maintain accurate client records and support quality and compliance processes.
