Job summary

RFBI Lake Haven Masonic Village is seeking a passionate Lifestyle Officer to design and deliver activities tailored to residents' interests, enhancing wellbeing and social engagement.

You will work within the lifestyle team to plan activities, update care plans, and promote programs in the village and local community. A genuine interest in caring for seniors, relevant certificates, and First Aid are required.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or Certificate III in Aged Care.
• Genuine interest in caring for seniors.
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role, particularly with people living with dementia.
• Current First Aid Certificate and excellent communication skills.

Position Information:

We have an exciting opportunity for passionate Lifestyle Officers to join RFBI Lake Haven Masonic Village. Within this dynamic role you will work within a passionate team to get to know our resident’s interests and tailor activities to suit their physical, social and recreational wants and needs.

About the role:

• Work within the lifestyle team to design and deliver activities tailored to our residents

What you need to be successful:

• Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or Certificate III in Aged Care
• A genuine interest in and commitmentto caring for seniors
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role particularly working with people living with dementia
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
