Job summary

RFBI Cessnock Masonic Village is seeking a dedicated Lifestyle Officer for a part-time position. You will collaborate with the lifestyle team to tailor activities to residents' physical, social and recreational needs.

You will help prepare and evaluate the activities calendar, promote events inside the village and in the local community, and ensure care plans are kept up to date. This role supports high-quality aged care and resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or Certificate III in Aged Care.
• Genuine interest in caring for seniors.
• Experience with people living with dementia is preferred.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver activities tailored to residents.
• Assist in preparation, evaluation and implementation of the activities calendar.
• Promote activities available within the village and local community.
• Update care plans and complete relevant documentation.
