Job summary

Catholic Healthcare Limited in Surry Hills, NSW, is hiring for a Leadership role in our lifestyle services. You will develop, plan and implement activities that support residents’ social, psychological, recreational, cultural and spiritual wellbeing.

You will lead a lifestyle team, conduct assessments, and collaborate with residents, families and volunteers to create engaging programs while upholding our mission and values.

Qualifications

• Kind-hearted with a passion for high-quality elderly care.
• Excellent communication and a positive attitude.
• Coaching and training skills for lifestyle staff.
• Strong IT skills; ability to use standard software.
• NDIS clearance or willingness to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Encourage resident choice and participation in activities.
• Conduct resident assessments to understand preferences and needs.
• Plan and implement events and activities, involving community, volunteers, and families where possible.
• Act as team leader, coaching and supervising the lifestyle team.
• Work safely and follow all policies and procedures.
