Job summary

Estia Health is seeking a part-time Activities Assistant to support residents with engaging, fun and meaningful activities. The role includes personal care, emotional support, and helping residents maintain social connections within the home.

You’ll build genuine relationships, be highly organized, and work as part of a collaborative team in a busy aged-care environment. Previous experience in aged care is a plus.

About the Role

Part time position : Tuesday and Wednesday from 9am to 5pm

In this varied and busy role you deliver engaging, fun and varied activities ensuring residents have their best day, everyday.A key part of your role will be giving personal care and emotional support to residents to ensure they feel valued, safe and maintain strong social connections within the home. As well as providing some aspects of direct care you will love getting to know the personal interests of our residents and finding engaging, fun and innovative activities that keep them motivated and smiling.

You'll be a team player who:

• Brings your energy and passion for enriching the lives of older Australians into this fun, dynamic and varied role
• Wants to be part of a collaborative team in a dynamic and growing sector where you can make a valuable contribution to the lives of older Australians with your warm and welcoming approach
