Job summary

BaptistCare NSW & ACT is seeking a Care Service Employee – Lifestyle for Blue Hills Manor Aged Care Home in Prestons. This part-time role focuses on meaningful engagement and activities to improve residents' quality of life.

You will work with a supportive team in a 24-hour care environment. The successful candidate will have a Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (or be willing to attain), a current First Aid certificate, and a valid driver’s license.

• Basic computer skills and willingness for ongoing education.
• Understand and promote BaptistCare's Christian identity and values at work.
• Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or related qualification or willing to attain (desired).
• Current First Aid certificate.
• Hold a current drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Support meaningful engagement and activities for residents.
• Develop and implement individual and group activities reflecting residents’ wishes.
• Work as part of a team in a 24-hour aged care home.
• Follow the roster and provide compassionate care.

About the Role:

Located at Prestons, Blue Hills Manor Aged Care Home is a welcoming and homely aged care home offering 24-hour, care and support to residents.

As a Care Service Employee – Lifestyle, you will work as part of a team to support the meaningful engagement of people living in BaptistCare residential communities. You will help develop and implement individual and group activities that reflect the wishes, goals, and preferences of our residents, directly supporting a positive quality of life.

The available roster for this role:

Week 1- Monday 0800-1600, Tuesday 0800-1600, Friday 0930-1600, Saturday 0900-1400, Sunday0900-1400

Week 2Monday 0800-1600, Tuesday 0800-1600,Friday 0930-1600, Saturday 0900-1400,Sunday 0900-1400

We offer a competitive salary based on your previous experience from$32.61 - $36.23/hr + superannuation + penalties + salary packaging.

About You:
