Job summary

The Lismore City Council is seeking a Lifeguard to join the Goonellabah Sports & Aquatic Centre and Lismore Memorial Baths. You will monitor pool activities, ensure safety, and provide a welcoming, high-quality experience for all visitors.

Casual and Permanent Part-time options are available, with day shifts. Applicants must have First Aid and Lifeguard certificates (or willingness to obtain), a Working With Children Check, a driver’s license, and a Bronze Medallion is desirable.

Qualifications

• First Aid Certificate (willing to obtain).
• Royal Life Pool Lifeguard Certificate (willing to obtain).
• Working With Children Check.
• Driver's Licence.
• Royal Life Pool Bronze Medallion (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and awareness to create a safe environment for all patrons.
• Assist across both facilities with customer service and general upkeep.
• Communicate effectively with patrons and team members.
• Build positive relationships through friendly, professional interactions.
• Work collaboratively to deliver excellent customer service and community outcomes.
