Job summary

MEC NT in Darwin is hiring 5 licensed electricians (Grade 5 minimum) for immediate start on major projects. Darwin-based casual roles offering $80 per hour with penalties and allowances under employment conditions.

You'll work on Defence, Government, Commercial, Industrial and remote projects across the NT, with a strong pipeline and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current electrical licence.
• Grade 5 capability/experience required.
• Australian Driver Licence required.
• Construction White Card and LVR/CPR current.
• Strong safety standards and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Hit the ground running on major NT electrical projects.
• Work across Defence, Government, Commercial, Industrial, Infrastructure and remote projects.
• Adhere to safety standards and project timelines.

You'll have the opportunity to work across some of the NT's largest electrical projects, including:

We aren't looking for apprentices or electrical trade assistants for these positions.

We need experienced, licensed electricians who can hit the ground running.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Current Electrical Licence
• Minimum Grade 5 capability/experience
• Australian Driver Licence
• Construction White Card
• Current LVR/CPR
• Strong safety standards
• Ability to work as part of a project team
• Pride in the quality of your work
• EWP Working at Heights and additional High-Risk licences are highly regarded.
