Job summary

360Heli is seeking a motivated Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) with B1.3 and/or B1.4 privileges to join our team in North Queensland. You will carry out scheduled and unscheduled helicopter maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting and defect rectification, certifying work to CASA standards and maintaining thorough records.

Based in Cardwell, you’ll work with Robinson (R22/R44/R66) and Bell (206/407) helicopter fleets, enjoy a coastal lifestyle with fishing and outdoor adventures,

Qualifications

  • A current CASA LAME licence with B1.3 and/or B1.4 privileges.
  • Relevant helicopter maintenance experience.
  • Experience with Robinson helicopters (R22/R44/R66).
  • Experience with Bell 206 & 407 helicopters.
  • Strong knowledge of CASA regulations and continuing airworthiness requirements.
  • Attention to detail and safety awareness.
  • Ability to work independently and in a small team.

We are seeking a motivated and reliable LAME to join our team and support the safe, efficient and high-quality maintenance of our aircraft.


Key responsibilities


Carrying out scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance


Performing inspections, troubleshooting and defect rectification


Certifying maintenance in accordance with your licence and company procedures


Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and airworthiness


Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation


Working collaboratively with our operations and engineering teams


Supporting continuous improvement across our maintenance activities


About you


A current CASA LAME licence with B1.3 and/or B1.4 privileges


Relevant helicopter maintenance experience


Experience working with Robinson helicopters, including the R22, R44 and R66


Experience with Bell 206 & 407 helicopters


Strong knowledge of CASA regulations and continuing airworthiness requirements


A high level of attention to detail and safety awareness


The ability to work independently and as part of a small, professional team


Good communication and problem-solving skills
