Job summary

Tamworth Regional Council invites applications for a Team Leader - Library Technology to lead critical technology services across the Country North Regional Library network. You will shape strategic technology outcomes, oversee project delivery and mentor staff while engaging with stakeholders to improve community access to information and digital learning.

Ideally you will have demonstrated leadership experience, a degree in IT or related discipline, and the ability to translate complex tech

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of technology teams in a library or public sector context.
• Experience translating technical concepts into strategic recommendations for stakeholders.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and deliver multiple projects with competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic technology advice to managers and leadership.
• Develop and implement the Library Technology Plan.
• Manage and optimise the Integrated Library Management System.
• Lead hardware and software support services across the library network.
• Deliver technology training, mentoring and staff/customer support.
• Prepare business cases, reports and presentations for committees and senior stakeholders.
• Identify and implement innovative technologies to enhance services.
• Oversee reporting, analytics and monthly performance statistics.
• Support Innovation Studio and Makerspace programs and future technology initiatives.
• Plan and deliver technology projects and system upgrades across the region.
