Job summary

Girton Grammar School seeks a vibrant Library Technician to support the Junior School Library team during term time, with two weeks callback. You will help students and staff access resources, manage lending, cataloguing, and maintain an inviting library space.

Working with the Library Teacher, you will also support book clubs and reading programs, handle bookings and inventories, and contribute to a warm, inclusive learning environment that values wellbeing and safety.

• Library Technician qualifications or relevant experience.

Girton Grammar School is seeking a vibrant, organised and enthusiasticLibrary Technician to join our Junior School Library team, term time only with 2 weeks callback.

This is an exciting opportunity for a person who enjoys working with primary-aged children and is passionate about fostering a love of reading, learning and discovery. Working closely with the Library Teacher, the successful applicant will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Library, assisting students and staff to access resources, and contributing to a welcoming and engaging learning environment.

About the Role
