Job summary

Brimbank City Council invites applications for the Library Systems and Emerging Technologies Coordinator. This senior role leads the CIT, Maker Space and Digital Literacy teams, delivering the Library Systems & Emerging Technologies Business Plan and managing the digital library environment including the KOHA library system.

You will work across libraries in Sunshine, St Albans, Deer Park, Sydenham and Keilor, driving innovation, customer service, and digital inclusion while ensuring on-going

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in library services or information management required.
• Experience leading IT projects and teams in a library context.
• Strong understanding of digital literacy and library technology trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead the CIT, Maker Space and Digital Literacy teams to deliver the Library Systems & Emerging Technologies Business Plan.
• Oversee selection, implementation and monitoring of the digital library environment (including KOHA).
• Manage budgets, reporting, and on-going system maintenance and development.
• Collaborate with staff and stakeholders to drive innovation and digital inclusion.
