Job summary

CRE Solutions in Tasmania is seeking an experienced Yardman on a casual basis. The role involves loading and unloading with a forklift, organizing the yard, and moving freight to trucks, containers and depots while maintaining safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have a valid LF license, proven experience in loading/unloading, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude. Monday to Friday with potential for extra hours and permanency in the future.

Qualifications

• LF license essential.
• Solid experience loading and unloading trucks.
• Experience within the transport industry or demonstrated experience in a similar role.
• Ability to manage workload, meet deadlines and be highly organized.
• A proactive attitude, a high degree of initiative and a positive approach.
• Is a Team Player and sees the value in supporting their peers wherever possible.
• Reliable and always punctual.

Responsibilities

• Loading/Unloading using a forklift and moving freight and materials throughout the yard into trucks, containers etc.
• Organising the yard and incoming and outbound of freight and trucks coming into the depot
• Maintaining high safety standards and adhering to load restraint guidelines.
• General maintenance of the yard
• Providing support to the wider team as required
