Job summary

Recruitment 24/7 is seeking an experienced 16-Tonne LF Forklift Operator for a busy precast concrete yard in Riverview, QLD. This casual, temporary role runs Monday to Friday from 5:00am to 1:30pm, with immediate availability and pay from $37.50/hr depending on skill and experience.

You will load/unload precast concrete products, assist dispatch, and perform pre-start checks while adhering to safety procedures in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Current High Risk Forklift Licence (LF).
• Proven experience operating large-capacity forklifts (16-tonne preferred).
• Experience in precast concrete, construction, manufacturing, steel, or heavy industrial environments.
• Strong awareness of workplace health and safety practices.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable transport and strong attendance record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 16-tonne forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload precast concrete products to trucks and trailers.
• Move concrete panels, molds and other precast products throughout the yard.
• Assist with dispatch and receivals activities.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks.
• Follow all site safety procedures and policies.
• Work alongside production and yard teams to meet daily targets.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Report equipment faults and safety concerns promptly.

We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join a leading precast concrete manufacturing yard, operating a 16-Tonne LF Forklift. This is an excellent opportunity for a safety-focused and reliable operator who enjoys working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

About the Role

As a 16-Tonne Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe movement, loading, unloading, and storage of large precast concrete products throughout the yard and production areas. You will play a critical role, and will be working closely with production and dispatch teams.
