Compnow in Melbourne is seeking a Level 2 Systems Engineer to provide hands-on technology support at client sites, delivering reliable systems and resolving day-to-day issues. You’ll move between customer environments to cover leave periods and adapt to varying priorities.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting across Microsoft, server, device and network environments, with opportunities to grow as part of a managed services team.

Qualifications

• Experience in desktop and infrastructure support.
• Strong troubleshooting across OS, apps and devices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, AD, and Azure.
• Willingness to work onsite at client sites in Melbourne.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite end-user support across OS, apps and devices.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, systems and services.
• Support Microsoft environments including AD, 365, and Azure.
• Configure and support MDM platforms (Intune, Jamf).
• Assist with Windows Server, VMware, and Veeam backups.
• Support network infrastructure and connectivity tasks.
• Document solutions, configurations, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with service desk, project and engineering teams.
• Deliver leave coverage at client sites on short notice.
