Job summary

FindMeA Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified Plumber for a well-paid role in Garbutt, Townsville. The position offers Monday to Friday work with a duration from 2 November 2026 to 29 January 2027 and a potential extension.

Pay is $47.30 per hour plus Super, with a Townsville-based opportunity. The role involves plumbing and drainage construction and maintenance, risk assessments, and delivering excellent customer service while mentoring apprentices.

Qualifications

• Current Certificate III in Plumbing (or higher).
• Current Queensland Plumbing Licence.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Strong knowledge of AS/NZ 3500 Plumbing and Drainage standards.
• Sound understanding of Workplace Health & Safety and environmental legislation.
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Plumbing and drainage construction and maintenance works.
• Using Microsoft Office applications and electronic devices to record and manage job information.
• Following safe work practices, including working around asbestos, lead-based products, and other high-risk construction activities.
• Conducting daily risk assessments and adhering to WHS legislation and site procedures.

• Delivering excellent customer service and contributing to a positive workplace environment.
• Mentoring and supporting apprentices across all year levels.
