Bank Australia’s Ascot Branch is seeking a Lending Specialist on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You’ll manage end-to-end lending conversations, assess customer needs, prepare tailored loan proposals, and coordinate documentation through to funding, while upholding excellent service standards in a busy branch environment.

• Experience in a lending role within financial services.
• Solid understanding of lending and credit principles, legislation, and math concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a strong customer focus.
• Strong time management and organisation to handle a fast-paced lending pipeline.
• Ability to build relationships with empathy and adapt to change.
• Commitment to Bank Australia’s purpose, values and the B Corp ethos.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end lending conversations and applications, identifying customer needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Assist branch operations: lending enquiries, documentation, valuations, credit checks and loan funding.
• Educate customers on Bank Australia’s products and services, supporting cross-selling and lending targets.
• Maintain accurate records, manage a fast-moving lending pipeline, and use technology to deliver efficient service.
• Meet performance/ service standards and complete required training.
• Escalate concerns, contribute to continuous improvement, and perform additional duties as directed.
