Handy Finance on Adelaide's CBD campus is seeking a Lending Specialist to join our fast-growing team. You will engage with customers, analyze their needs, and guide them through tailored lending solutions across personal and asset finance products.

Working with credit assessors, underwriting and operations, you’ll drive customer outcomes while meeting sales targets. No prior finance experience is required as training will be provided, with a supportive, high-performing team environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and negotiation skills; ability to build rapport over the phone.
• Results-driven mindset with a passion for meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple leads and applications.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and lending platforms.

Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Proactively contact prospective and existing customers to discuss financial needs and offer tailored lending solutions.
• Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough needs assessments to match customers with personal or asset finance products.
• Loan Pre-Assessment: Collect and review customer information to determine preliminary eligibility for loans.
• Pipeline Management: Manage a pipeline of leads and applications with timely follow-ups.
• Compliance: Adhere to policies and AML/KYC requirements.
• Relationship Building: Build rapport to establish trust and long-term loyalty.
• Team Collaboration: Work with credit assessors, underwriting, and operations to ensure smooth approvals and settlements.
