Job summary

SummitCare is seeking a motivated Leisure & Lifestyle Officer to plan and deliver engaging leisure and lifestyle programs for residents at our Liverpool aged care facility. You will work with a team to promote wellbeing and resident choice, tailoring activities to meet individual needs.

Key requirements include a Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or a related Diploma, a current National Police Check, and experience in a similar role. Strong customer service and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or Diploma in Health Science, Diversional Therapy, Occupational Therapy or related discipline.
• Current National Police Check is required.
• Experience in a similar aged care/health role is advantageous.
• Demonstrated creativity and passion for meaningful resident activities.
• Ability to assess residents' social, spiritual and emotional needs and design personalised programs.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Self-motivation with good organisation and teamwork.
